DESCRIPTION OF THE ASL MOBILE AUDIO FACILITY

The ASL "Mobile Audio Control Cabin" has been ergonomically designed for maximum efficiency. Complete control and overview of the console, signal processing and video monitors is possible from the mix position. The main patch bay system is centrally located in the control cabin. Side audio/video panels can interface additional ASL or guest mic-pre's, mixers, processing, etc. The rear audio panel connects dual 48 or 24 track multitrack machine operation to the system. The front audio panel under the console interfaces the main console connections. Three separate air conditioners provide cooling to equipment and people individually.

The outside rear "Audio/Video/Power Interface Area" is equipped with an awning for weatherproof crew operations during work or stand by. The lower bi-folding inventory doors provide easy access to stowed equipment in tight quarters. When the lift gate is not in use, it acts as the work platform for the A/V/P Interface Area. Five "Belly Bins" mounted beneath the control cabin provide storage for stands, snake/mults, feeder cable, truck supplies, etc.
